Sweet Home Carolina stands on what was, back in the day, a thriving moonshine operation and still holds remnants of that time down by the creek. Owners, International Paranormal Investigators John Koren and Lyn Layton-Koren, were intrigued to learn more about the history land and surrounding area and discovered the grounds to be home to its own resident “ghosts”. The land itself has a story to tell and vibrates with the desire to tell it. It is something you don’t have to be told, you simply feel it when you arrive. Come visit us in our tasting room where you can experience the rustic elegance and charm of both old Carolina and old Ireland. Enjoy a relaxed pace on our covered porch or inside by our candle wall fireplace while savoring a sip of classic Carolina hospitality.
