Celebrate the 35th annual Candlelight Christmas in Rockford at the Historic Village of Rockford’s 1914 Rockford Methodist Church on Thursday, Dec. 4, and Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Rockford Preservation Society, Inc., this beloved holiday tradition features Dr. Gena Poovey of Gaffney, SC, accompanied by Kelsey Carlisle, local choirs, and special guest performers. Refreshments will be served following both programs, and a shuttle van service will be available from 6:00 p.m. at the Rockford Baptist Church parking lot. Visitors can also enjoy pre-show shopping at the Perlie Chic Boutique in the 1850 Dudley Glass Store/Davenport Gallery.
