The Jonesville Greenway is a stunning 3.9 mile river walk along the Yadkin that connects to the Double Bluff Recreation Area. This trail is open for hikers, bikers, and equestrians. At the trailhead, you will find Sargent Gregory Martin’s Park and the Happy Paws Bark Park Trail. Also, there is a great playground for children of all ages! Your kids have four legs? No problem! The long-term project planned for the greenway is a 32-mile trail, starting in Jonesville and ending in Rockford. This trail will include connections to the Yadkin River Canoe Trail, the Overmountain Victory Trail, and the Mountains to Sea Trail.

Double Bluff Recreation Area - Located at 2323 NC Hwy 67, NC 28642

Double Bluff recreation destination, along the Yadkin River, the park features more than five miles of walking, hiking, and running trails, more than five miles of mountain bike trails, an 18-hole disc golf course, a playground for families and children, river access for boating and fishing, picnic shelters, and dressing room facilities. This project represents years of planning, partnership, and investment in the future of our community. It holds opportunities for recreation, promotes healthy lifestyles, encourages tourism, and preserves the natural beauty of the Yadkin River for generations to come
